How Clients Consent to Receive Text Messages from Sproutax LLC‍

Sproutax LLC is a CPA firm. We send service-related text messages only to established clients who have expressly opted in. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

How you opt in

‍You may opt in to receive text messages from Sproutax LLC in either of these ways:

In writing

Primary method

During engagement onboarding, our client intake and engagement letter include an optional consent checkbox, unchecked by default. Consent is not a condition of receiving our services.

Verbally, by phone or in person

If you ask to be enrolled by phone or in person, our staff will confirm your mobile number and verbally review the consent terms below before enrolling you. We record the date, confirmed number, and staff member's name in your client file.

"By providing my mobile phone number to Sproutax LLC, I expressly consent to receive non-marketing transactional text (SMS) messages from Sproutax LLC related to my professional engagement, including but not limited to: invoice and payment reminders, tax filing and estimated tax deadline reminders, document and information requests, appointment confirmations and reschedule notices, and general account and engagement status updates. Message frequency varies based on the services engaged. Message and data rates may apply per my mobile carrier agreement. Sproutax LLC does not charge for SMS messages. I may opt out at any time by replying STOP — opt-out is immediate and confirmed — or request assistance by replying HELP. My consent is not required as a condition of receiving tax or accounting services from Sproutax LLC."

Staff record the date of consent in our client system, and only clients who have opted inreceive text messages. You may also opt in, or withdraw consent, at any time by contacting us at info@sproutax.com or 860-251-9449.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing orpromotional purposes.
